I used easel.ly to make four pie chart to compare the percentage of Cyber Monday, Black Friday, Singles' Day and Thinksgiving online sales with computer and mobile in 2014. We can see that computer has bigger impact in people's online shopping behaviour than mobile.

Where did customers look for promotion information about Black Friday and Singles' Day? (5)
This data visualisation shows the percentage of where did customers look for information on Black Friday and Singles' Day sales discounts and promotions.
At first, I used online software to create a simple picture. And then according to the first picture, I tried to use illustrator to do some different image.
Because some data are very similar, thus, it is difficult to see the differences clearly in the first pricture. So, I seperated the image and combine a new image.

Cyber Monday (4)
Cyber Monday is a marketing term for the Monday after the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States. The term "Cyber Monday" was created by marketing companies to persuade people to shop online.
I use illustrator and photoshop to create a bar chart to show the Sales from 2008 to 2013 and a balance picture to display how many people will shop online on Cyber Monday.

Black Friday (3)
Black Friday is the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States (the fourth Thursday of November). Since the early 2000s, it has been regarded as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season in the US, and most major retailers open very early and offer promotional sales. (More information in: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-25110953)
I used a online software, Piktochart, to create two data visualisations about Black Friday.

China's Singles' day (2)
As the name suggests, Singles' Day began as a day for single people, symbolised by the four number ones in the date of 11 November - 11/11. In 2009 the online retail firm Alibaba adopted the day to promote a massive online shopping sale. It said the date was easy to remember. Singles' Day rapidly became a hit. Other online retailers began cashing in, and Alibaba copyrighted the term "Double 11".
(Info. from-- http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-china-30004583)I used Infographics to create a line chart about Alibaba total sales from 2009.11.11 to 2014.11.11. And I also had tried to use Adobe Illustrator to create some 'clock' graphics to display the real-time sales of Singles' Day.
(Data from-- Alibaba official website: http://www.aliresearch.com/
and some major Chinese networks)
I also used google fusion tables to create a heat map and pie chart about 'Top 10 cities' expenditure in 2013 Singles' Day'.

Project brief introduction (1)
This project
is about shopping festival. In some special dates, all
merchants will do some large sales promotion
activities and lots of customers will be attracted. These kinds
of promotions will hugely improve shop's sale. In addition, with the
development of electronic technology, such as, computer, smart phone and
internet, in these years, some people's behaviours are changed
and the number of participation on the shopping
festival increase more and more as well as the sales also
enhance remarkably.
I want to
find out how much influences of electronic devices bring to customers'
consumption way and does online shopping will replace the retail store. This
project will collecting interesting data around the topic as many as
possible and use those data and information to do the data visualisation with
online software and some graphic software. At first, I will introduce each shopping festival separately and then I will combine those similar data together to analyse it. I am looking forward to see what I
can do with these data.
